The artwork (along with another two) was on sale at a major auction houses Modern Quality autumn 2011 cataloged as a genuine work by the Dutch artist Johannes Jacobus "Jan" Schoonhoven. When the catalog was published received the auction house amounts of e-mails and phone calls that these works are probably fakes. The auction house withdrew the artworks and contacted the police who took the artworks seized for further investigation.
