Rahmer studied at the National School of Applied Arts in Budapest between 1926-29. In 1931 she opened her own workshop in Budapest. In 1935 she was awarded the Gold Medallion Honorary Diploma in the Brussels International Exhibition. In 1939 she opened a second workshop in Paris. She emigrated completely to France in about 1949 , and died in Canada in 1998.
