Åsa Jungnelius. En konstnär som vill utmana den rådande smaken och har kallats glasfeminist. Åsa tillhör den nya generationen av formgivare på Kosta Boda i Småland. Det var just i Småland som hon började sin grundliga utbildning inom glas vid Orrefors glasskola. Hon blev glasblåsare, ett yrke som kräver skicklighet, precision och känsla. Därefter bar det av till England, Kenya, Italien och USA innan hon slutligen hamnade på Konstfack i Stockholm.
Åsa har gjort sig känd för sitt suggestiva konstnärskap som genom åren resulterat i ett stort antal utställningar, vissa med konstnärkollektivet WeWorkInAFragileMaterial som hon tillhör. Innan hon knöts till Kosta Boda profilerade hon sig bland annat med jättelika läppstift i glas.
