Alexei Parshkov finished the Krasnodar School of Arts, then the graphic faculty of the Moscow State Art Institute named after V. Surikov. A member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, the Honorary Artist of the Russian Federation. Double grant holder of the Russian Academy of Arts. Awarded a silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. Works in the painting and graphic art techniques. Paints the genre pictures, still-lives, landscapes, portrait, conditional and abstract compositions. Primary style: neo-symbolism. Lives in Starokorsunskaya village (Krasnodar Region). Since 1976 takes part in all types of group, city, krai, regional, All-Russian and international exhibitions. Some works of the artist are available in the collections of the Krasnodar Museum of Arts by named after F.A. Kovalenko, the Krasnodar Regional Showroom of Fine Arts, the State Gallery of Tretiakov, in the collection of the Ministry of Culture and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and other art collections in Russia and abroad.
