Brigitte Kleiberg (Britt) was born in 1980 in Amersfoort
‘Animals are my inspiration, they give colour to each and every day’.
Britt made her first steps in modern-art when she was 10 years old. Through experiments with acrylic paint on paper, wood and canvas, her realistic style changed to a more figurative, abstract image of reality.
She gets her inspiration from animals with a story to tell, which shines through in her paintings. There is always an underlying story behind each and every artwork.
The purpose of her work is to make people happy, but at the same time to preserve the values and positive image of all the beautiful things around us for the future so that they will not be lost.
Britt distinguishes herself by her use of vivid and bright primary colours in combination with simplistic outlines and large coloured areas.
