After working for seventeen years for several glass and chemical companies, Mr. Nesteruk founded his own glass studio in 1980. His Research and Development experience during his engineering career was devoted to finding new methods of coloring hot glass surfaces. Several patents were issued in his name all dealing with glass coatings. This vast knowledge of coloration has proved to be his trademark. A "veil" is an internal colored surface and all of his pieces to date are "veiled" with a variety of colors. Each piece is then hand cut and polished resulting in a sculpture possessing its own indivivuality. He continually experiments with new formulas and shapes which ensures variety and progression of design.
