Hans BUCH
1884–1954, Germany/USA

Busch was born in Germany and studied many phases of art at the Municipal Art School of Berlin and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin. After a brief stay in China, he traveled to the United States, eventually arriving in Cleveland, Ohio where he spent the rest of his career. He is associated mostly with the Cleveland School artists, teaching at Fenn College (later to be Cleveland State University).
