Italo Botti biography:
Italo Botti was born in Buenos Aires in 1889. There he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, which he finished in 1916. During his studies he participated in first exhibitions. Themes of his paintings are urban landscapes of Buenos Aires but also the rural hills in the area around Córdoba. In 1923 and 1924 he was honored with national awards, in 1961 he won the first prize at the International Exhibition in Paris. Today his works can be found in national and international collections.
