Johan Fankki is a Swedish "Saami" Artist. He is the son of the legendary Jon Pålsson-Fankki ( 1880 - 1961 ). He has continued the family handicraft tradition, and passed it on to his sons Magnus Fankki ( b. 1946 ) and Torsten Fankki ( b. 1950 ). It is impossible to assign a monetary value to the works of Jon Pålsson-Fankki between 1895-1930, which are regarded as true museum pieces.
