Oil on panel, fox in winter snow, signed "Lindorm L", 40x55 cm. Police in Stockholm arrested a man suspected of forging two paintings with the motif Fox in winter snow. The man had bought a genuine painting by artist Lindorm Liljefors and allowed themselves to be photographed together with Lindorm Liljefors keeping the real painting in his hand. He painted for two copies and counterfeit Lindorm's signature with "Lindorm L". He sold one of 13,000 Swedish kronor, while the other was offered for sale for 20,000 Swedish kronor. He used the photograph of the artist holding the original as a certificate of authenticity! The paintings also had the same frames as the original painting.

Oil on board, signed "Lindorm L-61", 32x43 cm. Ostensibly depicting a genuine painting by Lindorm Liljefors. The painting has been seized by police and after examination been assessed as a forgery.
