She taught at both the Akron Art Institute and the Cleveland Institute of Art, becoming the chairman of the Enamel on Metal Department in 1968. Her 1954 piece "Apostles" won an award at the Butler Institute of American Art, purchase award. During the height of her career, her work was exhibited at such prestigious institutions as the Museum of Contemporary Crafts, and several Cleveland Museum of Art May Shows.
