Superintendent Margareta Hansson, Helsingborg museum in Sweden, has announced that after a review of Forsberg's painting in the museum's collections, it is believed that the painting is not made by Nils Forsberg, then style, technical design and signature is not consistent with this artist. In the right bottom corner is a manipulated surface. When illuminated with UV light shows an earlier signature. This painting has not been painted by the artist Nils Forsberg the elderly. The District Court's assessment: The painting has not been performed by Nils Forsberg nor signed by him. It is a forgery.
