Normunds Braslins
Born in 1962. Professional training: J. Rozentals Art School of Riga (1973 - 1980), Painting Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts (1980 - 1986), and holds a MA degree in Fine Arts (1996). Participant of exhibitions since 1980. A member of the Artists' Union of Latvia as of 1987, a member of the B - 13' Association (1993 - 1998) since 1995. At present he is professor at the Latvian Academy of Arts.
Personal exhibitions: 1992 in Norrkoping (Sweden),
1996 in Riga (Latvia)

Group exhibitions: Le bateau ivre , I - III (1994, 1995, 1997, catalogue) in Riga. He has taken part in Sollentuna Art Fair in Stockholm (1993, 1995, catalogue), Art Mif in Moscow (1993). His paintings are in the ownership of the Artists' Union of Latvia, Arsenals Art Museum in Riga, and a number of private collections in Germany, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Denmark.
