Oil on canvas, southern landscape, 45x65 cm, signed "Olle Hjortzberg". The study of the painting shows signs that it is later signed. The painting appears dry and can be painted in the years 1939-1950. The painting is not made by Olle Hjortzberg. It is not sufficiently professional to be a Hjortzberg. The quality is not high enough, but trees, buildings and foliage is skillfully done. The signature is not executed by Olle Hjortzberg, it is not done with his clarity and certainty. The district court's assessment: The painting is not done by or signed by Olle Hjortzberg. It thus constitutes a forgery.
Oil on canvas, 49x60 cm, signed "Olle Hjortzberg". The signature has been moved from the lower right corner, which is then painted, to the bottom left corner. This painting is not done by Olle Hjortzberg. The style is a continuation of the Nineteenth Century open-air painting. This painting is not particularly good. Oil on canvas, still life with flowers in a vase, signed "Olle Hjortzberg", 65x53 cm. The painting is signed later after it was painted. It is painted around the years 1930-1950. This painting has more quality than the previous two counterfeit Hjortzberg-signed paintings in the seizure (PHM no. 26 and no. 29). It are not so grossly painted and the background has a nice shade. The painting was not made by Hjortzberg. The signature is faster than Hjortzbergs. Hjortzberg signed his name with great accuracy. The district court's assessment: The painting is not done by or signed by Olle Hjortzberg. It thus constitutes a forgery.
Oil on canvas, signed "Olle Hjortzberg", 31x41 cm. Technical examination shows that the painting is signed later, after it was painted. No other, earlier, signing can be found on the painting. Although this painting is from the years 1930-1950 and is reminiscent of 1800s traditional style. It is painted a pretty talented painter but Olle Hjortzberg are not the author of this painting. It are painted sometime melancholy years 1940-1950 and low-quality to be painted by Olle Hjortzberg. The signature are skillfully made but are not written by Olle Hjortzberg. The subject has some similarity to Hjortzbergs painting but especially the lower left portion of the painting is naive painted. The artist has missed Hjortzbergs style in some parts of the painting. It has not been painted by Olle Hjortzberg. The District Court's Verdict: The painting is not completed or signed by Olle Hjortzberg. It thus constitutes a forgery..
Imitation counterfeiting, 74x61 cm. The painting is indistinctly signed. On the back of the screen the following was noted: "This is to certify the authenticity of the reverse oil painting. Painted and signed by the artist Olle Hjortzberg. G. Jaensson ". The painting is not painted by Hjortzberg. It may have been painted in the early 1900s. The painting is painted rumpled and not in Hjortzberg style. The painting is done by a skilled amateur. Conservator Gustav Jaensson denies that he signed certificate of authenticity in the back of the canvas. District Court: Painting has become a forgery by the certificate of authenticity.
