Oil on canvas, designs from old Hagalund in Solna town, Sweden, signed "Olle Olsson Hagalund" 43x62 cm. The painting is part of a major fraud seizures of counterfeit art in Sweden known as ”The Society of Art Friends”: Three men, aged 30, 37, and 40 years old, were caught in Stockholm, Sweden after a reconnaissance tip from police in Ängelholm, Sweden. Shortly afterwards, another two men were caught. In total, 48 house searches were made through out the nation from which 83 forged paintings were confiscated. Forged art had already been sold for millions of Swedish crowns. Victims of the gang were well known businessmen with considerable incomes. League had good help from educated art experts who have written certificate of authenticity to many of the fake paintings, often at very small remuneration. On a door to a flat in Stockholm the men had displayed a sign with the text “The Society of Art Friends”.
Oil on canvas, designs from old Tapiola, signed "Olle Olsson Hagalund Solna town in Sweden", 110x65 cm. The painting was managed by a woman "L.A. ', for an unknown owner's behalf. When the painting was confiscated was heard Mrs. Maja Olsson, widow of Olle Olsson, she declares that the painting is not done by Olle Olsson.
Oil on canvas, signed "Olle Olsson Hagalund, 73x92 cm. Maja Olsson, wife of Olle Olsson and Lena Olsson, his daughter, has written a statement as follows: "We hereby certify that the painting signed Olle Olsson Hagalund, is a forgery. Subject is taken from two of Olle Olsson's original paintings namely "Hötorgsmålarens ateljé" and "Målaren i gräset". In the lower right corner, an overcoating is observed. The painting is performed by a skilled copyist who made the effort to imitate Olle Olsson. The district court's assessment: The painting is not done, nor signed by Olle Olsson Hagalund It is a forgery and shall be forfeited.
Oil on board, signed Olle Olsson Hagalund. Maja Olsson, the wife of Olle Olsson and Lena Olsson, his daughter, has a certificate in June 6, 1979 states: I hereby certify that the painting, and scene depicting an outdoor terrace, signed Olle Olsson has never been painted by Olle Olsson. There is nothing in the scoreboard showed that with his painting, signing is not even like Olle Olsson. The painting is made of Olle Olsson direction of someone who paints deft. The signature is poorly subtitled. The painting is poor and the subject is not characteristic of Olle Olsson.
