Lithograph, copper cauldron with blueberries, 37x55 cm, numbered and dated '78. Counterfeit Signed. At a burglary at Philip von Schantz, in his studio, was the edition of two graphic prints stolen. The edition was not complete printed, nor signed or numbered. Philip von Schantz's son, Johan von Schantz, discovered that some of the lithographs were for sale at an art dealer in Stockholm. He then contacted the police who visit the art dealer and takes lithographs confiscated. The graphics are thus genuine in its execution but provided with forged signature. Some lithographs have been seized but the majority are on the market. They are cleverly signed but upon closer examination differ the signing from PVS genuine signature.
