Mixed media on cardboard, composition, signed "Poliakoff." Ostensibly picturing a genuine painting by Serge Poliakoff. The painting was confiscated by Danish police in Copenhagen in connection with the numerous fraud offenses which the police revealed in the 1990s in Denmark. After an expert investigation and judgment declared that the painting is not genuine. It is a forgery.
