Oil on panel, 45,5 x35, 5 cm, Woman in Profile. An art dealer in Vaasa in Finland was offered, in 2001, to purchase seven paintings by famous Finnish artists including Eero Järnefelt and Helen Schjerfbeck at a price of Euro 134,000. It turned out later that all the paintings were fakes. The suspect, who was convicted of fraud, gross fraud and forgery, said he had bought the paintings by an unknown man on the racetrack in Vermo Finland. In search of the man's home and car, police found more counterfeit paintings and equipment for the production of these fakes. This painting is amateurish and clumsy performed and are not painted by Koistinen. After an expert assessment and judgment declared that the painting is not genuine. It is a forgery.
