Josef Kopf biography:
Josef Kopf was born in Vienna in 1873. He studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts under Trenkwald and Pochwalski. Several study trips took him to Holland and France. His Œuvre includes interiors, landscapes, still lifes and figures. In 1916 and 1917 he was awarded the Art Prize of the City of Vienna, in 1948 he received the Golden Laurel of the Vienna Künstlerhaus.
